Fashion3It seems like not that long ago we were all wrapped up for the cold weather but the Spring / Summer season is already upon us and it’s time to take a look at the latest trends for ladies fashion on  the high street. Depending on your own preferences there are many different looks which are popular for this season so everybody should be able to find something ideal.

Like last year, patterned fabrics are popular, however the colours have toned down since last year, becoming more subtle and pale. Printed miniskirts combined with a light coloured top look great on many body shapes.

Along with the paler patterned colours, the catwalk trends for this season seem to be leaning towards totally un-patterned fabrics in washed out, pale, even nude colours. This look suits many different body shapes and is easy to pull off. Accessorising a white tunic or floaty dress with a coloured belt or scarf makes a bold statement and is also a great way to personalise this look. Depending on your confidence, see-through items are also seen in many high streets and can look stunning for a night out.

Crop tops have made a reappearance, though should be avoided if you don’t feel confident baring your midriff this summer.

The 80s revival looks set to continue with double denim (denim jeans with a denim shirt or jacket) remaining a popular look among many high street fashion brands. The style can be adapted in different ways and looks effortless while being comfortable yet chic.

Teaming many of the above styles with leggings or thick tights and boots is a popular look and easy to pull off.

Remember, don’t just choose clothes because they’re fashionable, choose the outfit which best suits your own shape and unique style – that way you’ll not only look great but feel confident and natural too.
